Keep today's tasks in their own list
Yesterday, we talked about picking your daily tasks.
It’s a good idea to keep those in a separate note, all by themselves.
If you’re using a paper system, start a new page, keep a separate notebook, or grab a post-it note, and copy the items over. Keep that with you all day.
If you’re using a digital setup, you might be able to tag items to show up in another note, too. In Obsidian, anything I tag with a unicorn emoji (๐ฆ) automatically shows up in a special “Today” note I have.
Because ADHD brains have a limited working memory, seeing too much information at once can trigger overwhelm.
Keeping today’s todos all by themselves helps prevent that from happening and lets you focus on just the stuff you need to get done right now.
