How to get sh!t done with ADHD
I’m working on my first ADHD related course: Getting Shit Done with ADHD.
Psst! If you have any specific topics you’d want to hear about (or you’re just interested in the topic), I’d love if you reached out to let me know!
The course is built on three core principles…
- Most productivity advice just doesn’t work for folks with ADHD.
- You’re different than other people, but not worse.
- The “trick” to thriving is to work with your ADHD instead of against it.
I’m planning to break things down into two sections…
- Productivity.app, my simple, ADHD-friendly system for getting shit done.
- Hacking your brain’s OS, a bunch of tips and tricks for helping your brain shift into hyperfocus more often.
What exactly is my approach to getting shit done?
- Capture. I write everything down in a single place: every idea, every task, and every important detail I need to remember.
- Process. I periodically clear out my inbox, “defrag” my notebook or “capture device,” and flag stuff that needs to get done on a specific date so I don’t forget.
- Do. I have a very specific, very no-bullshit approach to selecting daily todos that means my ADHD brain will actually do them.
If any of this sounds interesting or there’s something specific you struggle with, reach out and let me know!
