Helping people find work

It’s rough out there.

AI is being used to devalue work, justify layoffs, and depress wages. An utterly shit economy is making everything cost more. Tech is being propped up by a bubble (AI) that will pop eventually. And when it does, things will get even worse.

I want to help people find work.

Here’s the plan: every week or two, I’ll include a list of people who are looking for work in my newsletter, with a link to their online resume or portfolio or website.

In my experience, networking is a huge part of finding work.

If you’d like to be included, my only ask is that you first check out my guide on writing good resumes. It’ll help make sure that what I share is as effective as possible.

I have other career guides, too, but for this experiment, the resume bit is the important stuff.

If you or your employer is hiring and see someone on the list who might be a good fit, reach out to them! Send their info along to your boss or recruiter.

And if you have a role you want me to advertise in my newsletter, well… I don’t really do that, but a sponsorship might be a good fit?

Want me to share your resume?

Send me an email (or if you’re a subscriber who get this in your inbox, just hit reply) with…

  • Your name
  • A link to your online resume or portfolio
  • One or two sentences about what you’re looking for/what you can do
  • A note letting me know that you looked at my resume guide first

Let’s get some people hired!
